Community & Responsibility
Our commitment to our local community and to corporate responsibility is demonstrated by our actions:
- We sponsor Addington Palace Football Club - an under 12 boys team which is part of the Tandbridge Youth Football League - www.ourkidssports.com.
- We champion equality and diversity and are committed to ensuring everyone has a fair chance to participate in Society. This commitment is recognised in Diverse Britain - The Changing Face of a Nation 2008, published by the Home Office and the Equality and Human Rights Commission (see here for our entry).
- We have the Investors in People accreditation (see what our staff say about us in Work for Us).
- We are on the panel of Headway - the brain injury association. Headway is a charity set up to give help and support to people affected by brain injury.
- When we replaced the Firm's PC's, we gave our existing PC's to Anfoega Association, a charitable organisation for the promotion of schooling and the alleviation of poverty in Ghana. (One of the Firm's senior solicitors is a trustee of the organisation).
- We have an environmental policy which encourages recycling and reducing waste through the use of confidential bins to recycle paper and the turning of waste paper into note pads to be reused by our staff.
- We contribute to the community by regularly donating Christmas gifts to clients of housing associations - vulnerable people who are disadvantaged and suffering from a mental illness.
