We are signatories to the Diversity and Inclusion Charter of the Law Society
We believe that a commitment to diversity and inclusion is essential to reflect the society in which we work today. It makes business sense because it helps us to attract and retain the best talent, and enables us to understand and meet our clients’ needs more effectively and provide a better quality service.
This commitment was recognised in “Diverse Britain – The Changing Face of a Nation 2008”, published by the Home Office and the Equality and Human Rights Commission (see here for our entry).
When we replaced our PCs, we gave the existing PCs to The Anfoega Association, a charitable organisation for the promotion of schooling and the alleviation of poverty in Ghana.
Our staff participate in a number of charity raising events both locally and nationally including MacMillan Coffee Mornings, London Moon Walk raising money for breast cancer charities, London Legal Walk for the London Legal Support Trust.
We participate in our local community and support community organisations and projects in the local area. We currently sponsor three under 8 teams of Our Lady’s Youth Football Clubs. This club was established in 1990 with just one team which trained on the tarmac in the Our Lady of the Rosary Church car park. The club has flourished over the past 20 years and embraces all levels of football, with the emphasis on the children’s well-being and enjoyment, as well as improving their football ability. www.ourladysyouth.co.uk
